Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam Donates Seven-and-half feet Sri Venkatachalapathi Stone Idol To Panchavatee
Panchavatee, the divine destination
known for the gigantic 36 ft 'Vishwaroopa Jayamangala Anjaneya Swamy' will now
be known as the 'Madhya Tirupati', with Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD)
donating a Seven-and-half (7-1/2) feet tall Sri Venkateswara idol.

Chennai, May 6, 2019: The stone statue
carved, sculpted and brought to Panchavatee from Tirumala by TTD, will be
installed at the Panchavatee temple premises on Friday, May 10, 2019, between
6:30 AM and 8:00 AM by Shri Vaikanasa Pradhista Thilagam Papakudi Sriman
Venkatesa Bhattachariar.

Kothandaraman, President, Panchamukha Panchamukha Sri Jayamaruthi Seva
Trust, said "Panchavatee Kshetram is located at the Papanchavadi
Village, on the Puducherry-Thindivanam Highway, 11km from Puducherry and
29 km from Tindivanam and is famous for its gigantic 36 ft ‘Viswaroopa
Jayamangala Panchamukha Anjaaneyaswamy idol, the tallest in Asia,
alongside separate sanctum sanctorum for Valamburi Ganapathy and
Pattabisheka Ramachandra. Now, with Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam
donating / presenting a 7-1/2 ft Venkatachalapathi idol to the Panchavatee
temple premises, this place will be known as ‘Madhya Tirupati'. The
installation of the statue will be done on Friday, May 10, 2019, between
6:30 AM and 8:00 Am, followed by a Maha Samprokshanam on June 23, 2019, in
the presence of Shri. S. Ramani Anna".
