SRM Instititute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) welcomes applications for Distance Education for the calendar year 2019
Distance education gives the freedom to acquire a degree from
SRM without needing to visit a campus often. The programmes offered by distance
education at SRM can be pursued through discussion forums, electronic library
resources and receiving study materials online.
The
distance education programmes of SRMIST were approved by the UGC last year. Initially,
five programmes BBA, B.COM, BA (Journalism), BA (English) and MA (English) are
being offered. The calendar year 2019 admissions are going on and the last date
for applying is 28/02/2019. SRM IST provides qualitative distance education
with effective student support services and online resources. Study centres
have been opened in SRM campuses in Ramapuram, Vadapalani and Trichy. SRM is
one of the very few universities in India which has been granted Category I
status by the MHRD and the UGC. More programmes like Yoga, Performing Arts and
MBA will be offered from the academic year 2019-20.
