The highlight of the show was that the runway models came from low-income neighborhoods who were thrilled to have the opportunity to walk on a professional platform.  The models who were between the ages of 5 and 15 had their moment to shine on the runway as models and walked confidently and gracefully showcasing the clothes created by students.

It is especially significant that these kids are able to showcase their talents and have this amazing experience under their belts, as they are often overlooked and ignored when it comes to opportunities like this," said Syed Z Ahmed, Co-Founder of the college. "We believe that every child should have the chance to pursue their passions and develop their skills, regardless of their background. This event is just the beginning of our efforts to break down barriers and create more inclusive opportunities for young people.

One of the models, who had her first time modeling clothes professionally, said, "It feels great. I want to be a fashion designer when I grow up and this event gives me the hope to chase my dream. It's not just about learning how to walk on the ramp or strike a pose, it's about providing opportunities for these young people who might otherwise not have them."

Kavi, one of the participating students said, "I am so grateful for the opportunity to showcase my designs on a professional platform and be a part of this amazing event. It's truly inspiring to see kids from low-income neighborhoods being given the chance to shine."

"At CIDT, we believe that every student deserves the opportunity to pursue their passion and develop their skills," added Syed Rahma Ahmed, who is also a co-founder of the college. "The CIDT-ZAR Kids Fashion Show is a testament to the power of education and opportunity in creating a more inclusive and equitable society. We are proud to give our students the chance to showcase their talents on a professional platform and make a real impact in the fashion industry. We are committed to providing more such opportunities for our students to flourish and achieve their dreams."

The event was attended by a diverse group of people, including celebrities, fashion industry professionals, and members of the general public, and was widely praised for its unique concept, vibrant energy, and the level of professionalism shown by all the students. The show was followed by an after-party, which gave guests a chance to mingle with the models and designers who walked on stage earlier that day.
