Chennai, September 7, 2026: LatentView Analytics inaugurated the sixth season of its Chennai Kaalpandhu League (CKL), bringing together more than 700 boys and girls from government schools across Chennai. The Under-13 tournament features 43 teams representing 30 schools and was inaugurated by Akhil Prakash, Chief Operating Officer, Chennaiyin FC, at Pavendar Bharathidasan Play Field, Shenoy Nagar.
The week-long league offers young footballers an opportunity to experience organised competition, develop their skills and understand the importance of teamwork, discipline and sportsmanship. Now in its sixth year, CKL has reached more than 1,500 children from government and corporation schools through after-school coaching, technical training and competitive exposure, creating a supportive environment where children can build confidence, discover their passion for sport and develop a sense of belonging.

The programme’s impact is also reflected in inspiring journeys beyond the playing field. Former CKL participant Ishwarya A is now part of the Tamil Nadu State Football Team (Junior), while Hariharan S received a SAI scholarship. More recently, CKL alumna Maruva Farzeen received a sports scholarship from the Tamil Nadu government, highlighting the opportunities that grassroots sporting initiatives can create for young talent.
Akhil Prakash praised CKL for providing children with a platform to discover their potential, build confidence and develop discipline through sport, while also helping identify and nurture sporting talent at the grassroots.
LatentView Co-founder Pramad Jandhyala said the initiative reflects the company’s belief that sport plays a role far beyond the football field, helping children develop confidence, passion and a sense of belonging.
CKL Season 6 will continue through September 12, with the final boys’ and girls’ matches scheduled for the evening of September 12.
