The launch comes on the heels of several strategic initiatives by the Bengaluru-based EV manufacturer, including its ‘Kill the Petrol Bill’ campaign, collaboration with charging infrastructure provider Bolt.Earth to expand the Type 6 charging network, and the introduction of its ‘Battery Flex’ (BaaS) programme. These initiatives underscore Ultraviolette’s commitment to accelerating EV adoption and building a robust electric mobility ecosystem in India.

Customers visiting the new UV Space Station will have the opportunity to explore Ultraviolette’s latest offerings, including the X-47 Crossover and the F77 range of performance electric motorcycles. The motorcycles deliver 40.2 hp of power and 100 Nm of torque, enabling acceleration from 0 to 60 kmph in just 2.8 seconds. Powered by a 10.3 kWh battery pack, the vehicles offer an IDC-certified range of up to 323 kilometres on a single charge.

Speaking on the occasion, Niraj Rajmohan, CTO and Co-founder of Ultraviolette, said Chennai remains one of India’s most significant automotive hubs with a rich legacy in engineering, manufacturing, and innovation. He noted that the new experience centre will help bring Ultraviolette’s advanced technology and engineering-led products closer to the region’s growing community of riders and EV enthusiasts.

He added that the company continues to focus on advancing battery technology, vehicle intelligence, radar-enabled safety systems, and software-defined vehicle architectures while building globally competitive mobility solutions designed and manufactured in India.

As part of its recently launched ‘Kill the Petrol Bill’ programme, Ultraviolette is offering customers cashback benefits based on the kilometres covered on their previous two-wheelers over the last two years. Eligible customers can avail benefits of up to ₹30,000 on the purchase of an Ultraviolette F77 or X-47, reinforcing the cost-saving advantages of switching to electric mobility.

The new UV Space Station is located at Bala Padmam, 129/64, Harrington Road, Chetpet, Chennai.
