BirthRight by Rainbow Hospitals Launches Vannam Clinic for Recurrent Pregnancy Loss Care in Chennai

Chennai: After four consecutive miscarriages, a 35-year-old woman in Chennai recently delivered a healthy baby following structured evaluation and closely monitored care, highlighting the importance of detailed medical investigation for recurrent pregnancy loss. Doctors say many women continue to face repeated miscarriages without proper diagnosis, even though the condition affects nearly 2–3% of pregnancies, particularly among women in their 20s and 30s.

To address this concern, BirthRight by Rainbow Hospitals has launched Vannam Clinic in Guindy—Chennai’s first gynecology-led Recurrent Pregnancy Loss (RPL) and Pregnancy Failure Clinic. The clinic offers comprehensive evaluation for women experiencing two or more consecutive miscarriages, which may be caused by genetic factors, uterine structural issues, cervical weakness, clotting disorders, hormonal imbalances, or metabolic conditions.

She noted that many cases can be managed effectively with targeted diagnosis and personalized care without the need for fertility interventions.
