IPMA Global Project Profession Forum to Be Held in Mahabalipuram on February 13–14
Chennai, February 12, 2026: The International Project Management Association (IPMA), the world’s leading organisation for excellence in project management, is set to host the ‘IPMA Global Project Profession Forum’, an international conference bringing together project management professionals from across the globe. The event is being organised in India by Project Management Associates (PMA), India, the national body representing project management professionals in the country.

The conference will focus on thought leadership and key strategic discussions under the theme: “Driving Global Change Through Project Management: Embracing Artificial Intelligence, Innovation, and Sustainability.”

The conference will be presided over by PMA Patron Anil Rastan. Distinguished speakers include N. Ram, Director of The Hindu Group, and Palanivel Thiaga Rajan, Tamil Nadu Minister for Information Technology, among others.
The forum will witness participation from national and international experts, industry leaders, global project heads, policymakers, and academicians. Discussions will centre on the evolving role of project management in building sustainable, technology-driven initiatives for the future. The conference will highlight how project management plays a critical role in driving transformation at organisational, national, and global levels, especially amid rapid technological advancement and increasing environmental concerns.
Key deliberations will explore how Artificial Intelligence is reshaping project leadership and execution, how innovation enhances value creation, and how sustainability principles can be integrated from project design to completion.
Panel discussions and interactive sessions will cover topics such as AI-enabled project governance, agility and innovation in complex project environments, integrating environmental and social responsibility into projects, and the future skills required for the global project profession.
