Chennai, November 3, 2025: SRM Prime Hospital, Ramapuram, has inaugurated the SRM Prime Institute of Gastrointestinal and Liver Diseases, featuring South India’s most advanced endoscopy unit. The institute aims to provide comprehensive digestive and liver care powered by next-generation imaging and precision-based endoscopic technologies.

Equipped with cutting-edge systems such as the Arietta 750, EP-8000 endoscopic ultrasound, and Olympus X1 platform, the centre offers high-definition imaging for precision-guided, minimally invasive GI and liver procedures. The introduction of the Slim Therapeutic Endoscope EG-840TP further enhances procedural accuracy, ensuring faster recovery and improved patient outcomes.

Speaking at the launch, Mr. P.
