"For over a century, The Madras Sanskrit College has been a bastion of Bharatiya Knowledge Systems," said Ramesh Mahalingam, Trustee of the Madras Sanskrit College. "This collaboration represents a vital step in our evolution, taking our deep-rooted academic legacy and presenting it to a modern audience. By joining with a powerful medium like cinema, we are ensuring that this essential conversation about our true Itihasa reaches every corner of society. The core mission of IKS is to unlock India's ancient wisdom for modern challenges by uniting timeless texts with contemporary methodologies. This isn't about nostalgia; it's about activating a civilizational superpower to build a 'Viksit Bharat'."

Mahalingam further emphasized, "Our goal is not to fight the past, but to equip the future with a truer sense of Bharat’s legacy. We stand at the brink of a knowledge renaissance, embracing our Bharatiya Gnana Parampara not just to revisit the past, but to build the future with the timeless light of ancient wisdom, moving our heritage from Silence to Strength”.

The True Itihasa Project is grounded in evidence, not ideology. This partnership with  His Story of Ithihaas allows one to present scholarly findings in a way that is both accessible and emotionally resonant, encouraging critical thinking on a national scale.

The film aims to be a catalyst for this re-examination. "Cinema has the power to make people think and question the world around them," said Manpreet Singh Dhami, Director of His Story of Ithihaas. "Our film is designed to provoke that critical thought, to encourage audiences to look beyond the pages of their textbooks. By partnering with the deep scholarship of the Bharatiya Center for Excellence, we are adding a layer of academic weight to this call to action, creating a movement that is both intellectually and emotionally compelling."

The collaboration will be launched with screenings of the film at prestigious venues, including IIT Madras and RR Sabha, Mylapore, aimed at students, academics, and the general public to spark a widespread movement of historical re-evaluation.
