Chennai, March 23, 2025: Ex-employees of Rane Brake Lining (RBL) today organised Reunion Get-together party at Hotel Ambica Empire, Chennai. President of RBL was the Chief Guest of the function. Around 100 members participated in the event.

Ex-employees formed a WhatsApp group namely "Friends of Ex.RBL" to share their old memories.  Its first meeting was held in the year 2023. Most of the friends met after 3 decades. Today's is the 3rd Get-together. Members participated in the team games and won prizes. Some members showed their singing skills and some shared their personal experiences.

During the meeting,  it was decided to invite MD of RBL for the next year’s event. Members showed eagerness to attend the Get-together irrespective of age. All members enjoyed the meet and went back home with sweet memories.

Chennai, October 17, 2025: Vasan Eye Care Hospital, Chrompet, in collaboration with Shrimathi Devkunwar Nanalal Bhat Vaishnava College for Women, jointly observed World Sight Day 2025 with a powerful message on preventing vision loss and promoting safe Diwali celebrations. Over 150 college students participated in a unique Blind Walk, symbolically tying black ribbons over their eyes to raise awareness about visual impairment and the importance of eye donation. Madras Diabetes Research Foundation Signs MOU with CBR & UK DRI for Pioneering Diabetes and Brain Health Research

25th October 2025 | Chennai, India – In a significant international partnership, the Madras Diabetes Research Foundation (MDRF), Chennai, the Centre for Brain Research (CBR) at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, and the UK Dementia Research Institute (UK DRI) have come together to advance pioneering research into the complex links between diabetes and brain health. Separate Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) were signed between MDRF, CBR, and UK DRI to formalize this collaboration.
