Chennai: GRT Hotels & Resorts played host to the second edition of Marvellous Marghazhi: Celebrating Culture on the Ramp, an exceptional celebration of Chennai's rich artistic and cultural heritage.

The event, organized by Lakshmi and Saraswathi of Event Art, featured artists showcasing traditional attire adorned with stunning jewelry from GRT Jewellers and elegant sarees and kurtas from Snehalayaa Silks. The Royal Ballroom of Radisson Blu Hotel & Suites GRT Chennai became the vibrant setting for this prestigious gathering of the city’s elite, diplomats, and socialites, marking an unforgettable chapter in Chennai’s cultural story.

Lakshmi and Saraswathi, the dynamic duo behind Event Art, are renowned for their deep commitment to promoting traditional art forms through innovative and impactful events. Their vision for Marvellous Marghazhi has created a platform that celebrates cultural heritage while inspiring younger generations to engage with the arts.

The evening showcased a mesmerizing convergence of legendary artists across music, dance, and art. The star-studded lineup included:

This year’s event featured three Grammy awardees: Ganesh, Selva Ganesh, and Rakesh Chaurasia. Renowned actress Suhasini Maniratnam also added a personal touch to the event, engaging with the artists and providing rare insights into their creative journeys.

The event was supported by Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, Apollo Hospitals, Oryza Spa and Salon, with Brand Avatar as the marketing partner. Title sponsor Sakthi Masala's involvement further elevated the event’s cultural significance, ensuring that the spirit of tradition was beautifully honored.

The event’s choreography was crafted by Ms. Priya Manikandan, adding to the seamless fusion of tradition and innovation that defined Marvellous Marghazhi.
