An MoU in this regard was signed today in the presence of H.E. Mr. Shelley Salehin, Deputy High Commissioner of Bangladesh, Chennai, H.E. Mr. K. Saravana Kumar, Consul-General of Malaysia, Mr. Gagandeep Singh Bedi, Health Secretary, Government of Tamil Nadu, Prof. Mohamed Rela, Chairman and Managing Director of Rela Hospital, Mr. Mohd. Taufik Bin Ismail, CEO, SFMMKPJ Hospital and Prof. Mamun A-Mahtab, Divisional Head, Interventional Hepatology Division, BSMMU. As per the agreement, Rela Hospital, renowned for its expertise in liver transplantation, will provide extensive training and support to SFMMKPJ Hospital to facilitate the setup and operation of a state-of-the-art liver transplant program.
