Chennai, July 10, 2023: Mar Gregorios College of Arts & Science conducted First year Students Inauguration program on 10th July 2023 in the college premises.

The Chief Guest of the day was Dr.Arumugam Gurusamy, a Global trainer, who enlightened the audience with his thought provoking speech. The program was blessed by the Secretary Rev.Fr.Mathew Pallikunnel. Felicitation was given by the Principal Dr.R.Srikanth. 

Around 900 students attended the program along with their parents. MGC is a Christian minority institution managed by the Malankara Syrian Catholic Trust, with a B++ grade NAAC Accreditation. MGC aims to cater the economically backward community by offering 11 undergraduate programs and 3 postgraduate programs in shift-I, along with 6 undergraduate programs in shift-II, for the past twenty-six years in the field of higher education in Chennai.

Chennai, December 19, 2025: Thiruvallur District-Level Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament Competition 2026 was successfully held at Mar Gregories College of Arts and Science, Mogappair West, on 19 December 2025. The event was organised by the college in association with the Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, and the NSS Regional Directorate, Chennai. Chennai, January 29, 2026: MGM Healthcare Malar, Adyar has successfully performed a highly complex liver transplant on a two-year-old boy weighing just nine kilograms, offering new hope to a child suffering from a rare and life-threatening genetic disorder.
