Aditya joined Aakash BYJU’s in Class XI to help prepare for JEE-Mains and JEE-Advanced, through ANTHE where he scored a good scholarship. The institute showed great results from previous batches and has a good popularity in Chennai, which encouraged him to join the classroom. He took the SAT in 2022 scoring 1590 out of 1600, sealing his admission at UC Berkeley. He also scored consistently at AIATS and other tests at Aakash BYJU’s.

Speaking about his choice, Aditya shares, “I always wanted to study at one of the top colleges in the USA to pursue Engineering where I also want to include Physics for my CS. Even though I did not want to join IIT, after getting through UC Berkeley I felt that my resume wasn’t yet very strong and a good performance in a competitive exam adds real value to it.  I always liked studying and since I did not have to prepare anything extra for SAT, the objective of cracking JEE Advanced kept me involved.”

Teachers at AakashBYJU’s remember Aditya as a sincere and obedient student, who always showed great potential. He also sometimes used to come to the classroom already prepared about the concept that was going to be taught. His teachers commend him for his zeal to stay ahead of the curve.

At home, his father is a Software Engineer, and his mother is a home maker. They were fully supportive of his decision to sit for JEE-Advanced and gave him peace to study on his own. Aditya has a younger brother who studies in Class VIII and has not yet decided about the path he wants to take in his future. Aditya feels when the time comes, he too will pursue science.

During preparation, the only challenge he faced was suffering from chronic asthma which caused him difficulties to breathe in winter months. He could not study much on devices at that time as his eyes would hurt. He studied the books while lying in bed and worked harder to catch up once he felt better. He remained resolved to keep pushing and do well in the competitive exams.

At Aakash BYJU’s, he likes the intensive test series that helped him stay in touch with the format of the exam. “One book doesn’t cover the entire syllabus for JEE-Advanced so I found that taking tests is the only way to familiarize yourself with the format. Sometimes I did feel that there were too many but in the end, they helped get a very good idea of how the exam will take shape.”

Aditya has been egregiously involved in meaningfulextracurricular activities to add value to his resume. He is an active member of the Model United Nations (MUN) Chennai chapter and takes part in activities regularly. He has been invited to an MUN Conference in July to attend, for his contributions. Among hobbies, Aditya likes playing the flute and he also cherishes playing football with his friends, but he had to leave it for the last couple of years to focus on studies.

Congratulating Aditya on his extraordinary performance at JEE Advanced, Mr.Abhishek Maheshwari, CEO, Aakash Educational Services Limited (AESL),said, “We are elated to have such a bright boy making it big. At Aakash, we always try to give the best to our students, depending on their individual needs. However, students like Aditya are self-motivated and often bring a fresh perspective to the teachers and the classroom. It helps us stay relevant and useful to students like him. We wish him all the best.”

On the recently declared results Mr. Dheeaj Misra, Regional Director, Aakash Educational Services Limited (AESL), “Aditya has always been a keen learner of new things and never afraid of mistakes. This attitude is critical in pushing the limits in the face of challenges. He is very composed and was hardly agitated, making himself a perfect engineering candidate poised to deal with the future. We, at Aakash, are very happy to have him and wish him luck in all his endeavors.”
