Chennai, 19 December 2020: Express Avenue Mall, Chennai's award winning fashion and entertainment mall, all geared up to ring in the festive season and delight the patrons.

The mall was decked up with Christmas décor to create the festive ambiance. Shoppers made most of this gala weekend by shopping at the ongoing 'End of Season Sale upto 70% off at the mall. Shop & Win festival also added to the over-all festivity where shoppers could win gifts worth upto 50 lakhs.

The customers had an amazing time watching the exciting performances conducted at the CIAO - The Season Carnival Show curated by Lets Roll.

All the performers in the Carnival Show are from Tamil Nadu and they are either "Guinness Record" / "Asian Book of Record" Holders. The acts at the Carnival show included: Juggling, Unicycle, Bubble Act, Lion Dance (Singapore), Mirror Man, Magician, Dwari wns, Crystal Act, Stilt Walkers, Acrobatics, Hula Hoop Dance, Mime Act, Balloon Sculpting, Tarot Card Reading, Candy Shop, Kids Angel Dance, Santa Act, Live Music Band, Masquerade Competition etc.

Chennai, August 19, 2025: In a remarkable medical achievement, the multidisciplinary team at SIMS Hospital successfully treated a young IT professional suffering from Dermatofibrosarcoma Protuberans (DFSP), a rare and aggressive skin cancer that swiftly spreads to surrounding tissues, including muscle and bone. In the patient’s case, the cancer had severely affected his scalp and skull. The scalp is now fully covered with healthy and stable tissue. The patient will need regular follow-up for early detection of recurrence, sun protection, and good scalp hygiene. After the tumour was removed, the patient’s skull was reconstructed. Then, the scalp was repaired in stages using skin grafts ,flaps tissue expander and the final repair using a piece of tissue from the patient’s thigh. Chennai, August 22, 2025 — A recent study by the Insurance Awareness Committee (IAC-Life), conducted in collaboration with Kantar, a market research platform has identified Tamil Nadu as one of the states with a high potential for life insurance penetration. The study underscored the importance of region-specific insights in advancing life insurance penetration.
