Swinburne University, Malaysian Campus announces Merit Scholarships for Indian students with Aspirations for a Global Education and Career

Chennai, Sep. 2019: Swinburne University, Sarawak Campus,
Malaysia, announced varied scholarship programs for Indian students who
wish to pursue Under Graduation and Post Graduation courses. With the
state-of-the-art facility and a range of flexible study options, the UG and PG
courses include business, computing, design, engineering and science at
the pre-university (foundation) level and Masters Degree in Business
Administration and Research programs at Ph.D., levels. Delivered by the
best academicians and industry professionals, these programs are
designed to empower the students with industry knowledge and enhance their
career prospects with dynamic study and pre-employment work experience.
Scholarship Eligibility: Students who have completed twelfth standard from CBSE
/ International Board, with high scores / grades, can directly apply for the
admission and scholarships for one of the many internal or external Swinburne
Sarawak Under Graduate courses, without any entrance exams. Students from Matriculation
board need to clear the IELTS, the language ability assessment
exam. Similarly, for the Post Graduate admissions and scholarships, students
must clear IELTS exam.
Areas of
study: Industry-applicable courses including business,
computing, design, engineering and science at pre-university (foundation),
diploma, degree, masters of business administration and research at Ph.D.,
levels.
Duration: Depending upon the courses chosen the
study duration would vary between 3 and 4 years for Under Graduate Courses and
2 years for Post Graduate. Students at the Malaysian campus have
International study options, where the Under Graduates have the
opportunity to spend a semester at their Melbourne campus through
the International Student Exchange Program or complete their degree
at the Melbourne campus via flexible transfer options after completing their Foundation
or Degree years 1, 2 or 3 depending on the length of their degree course.
They can also choose to apply for a transfer to their Melbourne campus after
a minimum of one year of study, subject to meeting the appropriate criteria and
also choose to complete part of their studies as an exchange student with their
partner universities in Germany, South Korea and the US.
Scholarship Amount: Higher the grades in the previous study, higher the scholarship amount. And if the student continues to do well in his/her studies at Swinburne, they may also be rewarded pathway scholarships for their next level of study.
Application Time: Four intakes per year
for UG and three intakes per year for MBA with immediate intake in Oct. 2019
for UG programs and Nov. 2019 for the PG programs.
