Graduation Day of SDNB Vaishnav College

SDNB Vaishnav college proudly hosted the grand convocation ceremony of the 2014- 17 batch of the students at its Golden Jubilee Auditorium. Dr.M.R.Srinivasan, Dean , College Development Council & Head of the department of Statistics, University of Madras honoured the graduates.

 The chief guest in the ceremony address stressed the important of education as a powerful tool for the eradicating poverty and removing gender inequality in the nation. He pointed out that education lays the foundation to meet global challenges. India is on its way to lead the world by revamping its present education system and proving a window of opportunities to productively engage its huge Human Resources. He appreciated the tremendous contribution of SDNB Vaishnav in not only imparting quality/ skill based education to the economically backward students but also developing holistic personality of the student to be self-reliant and independent.

A total of 637 & 868 Undergraduates from Aided & self support stream respectively were cerified.181 Post graduates & 24  MPhil students also received their degrees.

The breakthrough procedure offers renewed hope for patients suffering from end-stage heart failure with limited treatment options. The procedure was carried out on a 42-year-old man who presented with severe chest pain and breathlessness and was diagnosed with a massive heart attack that caused extensive damage to the heart muscle.
