Vedantu Tamil Nadu Creates History in NEET UG 2026 with 360+ Medical Selections Across the State
Chennai, July 18, 2026: Vedantu has achieved a remarkable milestone in NEET UG 2026, with 360+ students from Tamil Nadu securing medical seats, making it one of the institute's strongest performances in the state. Just two years after launching its offline centres in Tamil Nadu with a vision to bring India's best teachers, advanced technology and personalised mentoring closer to students, Vedantu has transformed that vision into reality.
This year's outstanding results reflect the strength of its complete learning ecosystem, combining experienced Master Teachers, one-to-one mentoring, AI-powered learning tools, regular assessments and interactive classrooms to help students from every background pursue their dream of becoming doctors.
Tamil Nadu emerged as one of Vedantu's top-performing states, with Chennai centres at Velachery, Anna Nagar and Tambaram playing a major role in the success. Chennai students secured top scores of 651, 640 and 625 marks. The state's top performer, Sreecharaan R from Chennai, achieved AIR 779, followed by Murugeswaran K (AIR 839) and Amirdha V (AIR 1641). At the national level, Vedantu student Sarthak Patil from Maharashtra secured AIR 10, while more than 20 students scored over 600 marks.
One of the biggest highlights of this year's results was the incredible improvement shown by repeater students. More than 50 students significantly improved their previous NEET scores, with inspiring journeys such as Sreecharaan R (476 to 651), Raghav U (240 to 556), Vijay P R (101 to 466) and several others proving that determination combined with the right guidance can deliver exceptional results.
Vedantu's growing Offline Centres, expanding School Integrated Program, and technology-driven learning tools like Ved AI Personal Mentor, Smart Clickers and real-time classroom feedback continue to redefine competitive exam preparation.
The newly introduced "Wave Change" initiative celebrates student achievements at the beginning of every class, creating a motivating environment for aspiring doctors and engineers. Congratulating the students, Vedantu Co-founders Anand Prakash and Vamsi Krishna credited the success to students' hard work, teachers' dedication and the power of personalised learning.
