QuizBites 4.0 Elevates South India’s Culinary Quiz Scene; Culinary Academy of Hyderabad Wins Top Honours

Chennai, March 2, 2026: Celebrating four successful years of culinary knowledge and professional camaraderie, QuizBites 4.0 returned with greater scale and industry participation. Hosted for the fourth consecutive year by Ispahani Centre, the much-anticipated culinary quiz was held at GRT Grand, drawing over 50 teams and 100 chefs from across South India.

What began as a niche industry initiative has evolved into a marquee annual fixture on the region’s culinary calendar. QuizBites continues to attract seasoned professionals and emerging talent, reflecting the growing appetite for knowledge-driven engagement within the hospitality sector.

This year’s edition introduced an upgraded, high-intensity format featuring buzzer rounds and rapid-fire sessions that tested culinary expertise, reflexes, and teamwork. The competition culminated in a gripping final round where six teams battled for top honours, with the Culinary Academy of Hyderabad emerging as the winner.

The event was graced by Chef Damodaran, President of the South Indian Culinary Association, and Chef Sheetharam Prasad, General Secretary of SICA, whose leadership has strengthened the platform’s credibility and industry standing.

“QuizBites 4.0 was an exhilarating event that demonstrated the extraordinary talent within South India's culinary community. The passion and camaraderie here speak volumes about the future of our industry,” said Chef Damodaran.
