Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba Centenary Celebrations at Advocate M.K. Govindan's Residence; 317th Study Circle

Chennai, November 23, 2025: The Centenary Birthday Celebrations of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba were conducted in a grand and devotional manner by the 317th Study Circle on Sunday, 23rd November 2025, at the residence of Advocate M. K. Govindan, Anna Nagar West Extension, Chennai. This Study Circle conducts monthly meetings with bhajans, speech by eminent Baba devotees, Narayana Seva and offers free legal services and charity. 

Advocate M. K. Govindan warmly welcomed all the devotees of Sri Sathya Sai Baba and expressed his heartfelt gratitude for their enthusiastic participation in the Centenary Celebrations. The programme commenced with the chanting of Vedam and Ashtothram, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere. This was followed by soul-stirring bhajans rendered by devotees, filling the space with divine vibrations.

The 317 th Advocates study circle was  presided by Justice. V. Periakaruppiah (retd),  in the presence of  Justice. P. N. Prakasam, (retd), who delivered the Key note address and cut the birthday cake.

A special address was delivered by Dr. E. Prabhu, Medical Director of the Advanced Nuclear Medicine Research Institute and Sai Krupa In-charge. His emotional speech about the miracles and divine experiences associated with Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, inspired everyone present.

The prayer session concluded with Mangala Harathi, offering collective reverence at the lotus feet of Bhagawan. Annadhanam in the afternoon was  distributed by Shri. Rajmohan, Secretary, Newry Park Towers Association. Vastradhanam & holy books on Bhagawan were distributed to all. 

The unique and blessed highlight of the celebration was the display of Bhagawan’s Padhugai, blessed by Baba himself, which all devotees had the opportunity to worship with deep devotion. Following the spiritual proceedings, devotees were served Prasadam. 

The Sri Sathya Sai Advocates Study Circle was founded by Justice M. Karpagavinayagam (retd), in 1995, with founder coordinators Adv. L. N. Prakash, Adv. M. K. Govindan & Adv. Prem Kumar, followed by Justice Ramasubramaniam, Adv. Sadasivam, Adv.Ravishankar,  Adv.Veena. 

This congregation was wholly coordinated by Adv. L. N. Prakasam, Adv.P. Sai Suresh, Adv. A. Thiagarajan, Adv.K. V. Subha and Adv. L. Margaret.
