Chennai: The South India Culinary Association (SICA) hosted the Grand Award Ceremony of the 7th edition of the SICA Culinary Olympiad and Food Competition 2025, held over three exciting days at the Chennai Trade Centre, Nandambakkam.
The prestigious Overall Championship Award 2025 and the coveted Chef Soundararajan Memorial Trophy was awarded to The Residency Towers; Second Best Overall Hotel: Radisson Blu GRT; Third Best Overall Hotel: GRAND by GRT, Chennai; Best Hotel Participation Award: Feathers – A Radha Hotel

The Best PR Award was presented to Mr. Indiran, CEO, Nexus PR, and Ms. T.R. Vijayalakshmi for their outstanding media coverage of the event across newspapers, television, YouTube, and digital platforms.
The event saw an incredible turnout, with senior chefs, trained professionals, culinary students, and hospitality establishments from across the region participating in a series of live competitions. The winners were honoured with gold medals, trophies, and certificates of excellence, recognizing their exceptional culinary skills.
