Chennai, March 17, 2025: The Humanitarian Award for Women’s Excellence, hosted by NAC and curated by Apsara Reddy, was an evening dedicated to celebrating the resilience, achievements, and impact of extraordinary women. Held as an exclusive extension of the prestigious Humanitarian Awards, which has been running successfully for six years, the Women’s Excellence Awards is now in its second year, recognizing women who have broken barriers and transformed lives with their dedication and innovation.

Apsara Reddy, a distinguished journalist and social activist, has once again displayed her exceptional ability to identify and honor women achievers across various domains. Speaking at the event, she emphasized the importance of recognizing women who not only excel in their fields but also contribute meaningfully to society. 

The evening was further enriched by remarks from Anand Ramanujam of NAC, who reaffirmed NAC’s commitment to empowering and celebrating women.

  • Nilaya, a pediatric dentistry expert, was acknowledged for revolutionizing children’s dental care with her cutting-edge approach.
  • Shruti, a Tamil Nadu Animal Welfare Board member, was honored for her relentless work in neutering strays and rescuing abandoned animals.
  • Shubda Dadha, an educationist, was celebrated for her efforts in securing the future of generations through her foundation and schools.
