MCC Association to launch school affiliated to CISCE & explore a collaboration between CISCE and the MCC-MRF Innovation Park

In his address, Dr. P Wilson, Principal & Secretary, Madras Christian College, announced that the MCC Association would be launching a new school affiliated to the CISCE. "The CISCE system has, over the last six decades, been one of the best School Boards in the country. Its extensive syllabus structure that gives greater emphasis on practical learning, its growing pan-India presence and its relatively high global recognition are among the reasons we are currently looking at an affiliation with them," said Dr. Wilson.

The proposed new MCC CISCE School would also focus on empowering students on entrepreneurship, innovation and related skill development. He also said that he would be presenting an Expression of Interest to the CISCE on a potential collaboration between the CISCE and the MCC-MRF Innovation Park on initiatives in innovation.

"The MCC-MRF Innovation Park would be interested to serve as a launching pad to empower school students with the skills and tools required to thrive as innovators. We could conduct sessions on ideation and entrepreneurial skill building and provide mentorships by pairing students with industry professionals who would give them valuable insights. Another possibility could be an online platform that helps students share ideas, work in partnership and receive constructive feedback on their projects," he added.
