Multi-visceral organ transplant (MVT) is the new frontier in global transplant programs, and MGM Healthcare, Chennai is performing life-transforming transplants that can cure certain chronic lifestyle diseases and improve the quality of life of patients. This new program extends hope to thousands of patients whose lives can now be saved with these procedures. Multi-visceral transplant involves replacing diseased or failing organs of the gastrointestinal tract such as liver, kidneys, Small bowel, pancreas, stomach and so on, with healthy organs from a deceased donor.
