Chennai, March 8, 2022: Besant Sports Foundation today organised one day volley ball tournament for women's to celebrate World Women's Day in 4.00 PM to 6 PM at Elliots Beach, Besant Nagar, Chennai 600 090.

Chief Guests of the programme: P. Mahendran, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Adyar; R. Krishnakumar, Secretary, Madras High Court Advocates Association and Prof.Dr.P.Amuthalakshmi, Madras School of Social Works.

Winners:

1st Prize: Soka Ikeda College of Arts and Science for Women Chennai-99

2nd Prize: Mini Sports Foundation

3rd Prize: QMC 

4th Prize : VGS Sports

Chief Guests distributed the prizes to the respective teams. 




Mr.G.Dakshinamurthy, Founder, Besant Sports Foundation said that Besant Sports Foundation was started with an aim and objectives to promote Sports and Education activates for the children's and youth in all over Tamil Nadu. The foundation were initially involved in tree planting in the beach along with the friends volunteers and the activity is still going on.

During press meet, Mr.G.Dakshinamurthy thanked everyone and informed that the sports foundation will continue to do the sports activities in the future also.
