Court order prohibiting the worldwide release of actor Sathyaraj starring Tamil Feature Film "TheerpukalVirkapadum"in Cinema Theaters and OTT Platforms

Chennai, December 22, 2021: K.K.Sudhakaran, Proprietor, Infinity Frames Productions as a affected party today announced at a Press meet that he had obtained stay order worldwide release of actor Sathyaraj starring Tamil. Adv.Sunil Kumar, Legal advisor, Infinity Frames Productions and Shivaram Mony, Film Director Production designer, Infinity Frames Productions were also present.

Tamil Feature Film "TheerpukalVirkapadum"in Cinema Theaters and OTT Platforms.Tamil feature film "TheerpukalVirkapadum" starring actor Sathyaraj written and Directed by Dheeran is a co-production of m/s.Honey Bee Creations ( Proprietor Mr. Sajeev Meera Sahib ) and Infinity Frames productions (Proprietor Mr. K.K.Sudhakaran) under the common banner "Honey Bee Creations in association with Infinity frames Productions".

By virtue of a partnership agreement, Infinity Frames productions invested the entire money as per the partnership agreement for the project and did all major initial shoot of the film. This was followed by a considerable gap in further production work due to the lack of money by HoneyBee creations. In thismeantime Honey Bee Creations released the first and second look posters without giving the agreed banner credit of Infinity Frames Productions and co-producer credit of Mr. K. K. Sudhakaran.

When the discussions failed the Infinity Frames Productions wasleft with no option other than approaching the court.A civil case for realizing the money and criminal case for cheating has been filed and both cases have beenongoing for the past two years. In the meantime, Mr.Sajeev Meera Sahib,( proprietor of Honey Bee Crcations) sold the said movie full ownership to Mr.C.R.Saleem, proprietor of Al Taris Movie ) without the knowledge and consent of the partner, Mr.K.K.Sudhakaran, (proprietor of Infinity frames Productions), which is an illegal and unauthorized transfer ofownership. 

Al Taris Movie censored the movie under their banner and posters have been released announcing the theatrical release worldwide on 24h December 2021 (Christmas release). Infinity frames Productions filed a suit in the District sub court Alleppey,Kerala against the first defender Mr.Sajeev Meera Sahib (proprietor of Honey Bee Creations) and the second defender Mr.C.R.Saleem(proprietor of AlTariMovies). The Honorable court after the hearing both sides, issued a prohibitory injunction order from releasing the Tamil feature film "Theerpukal Virkapedum" in the cinema theatres and OTT Platforms.(Copy of court order attached for reference).

We appeal to all Cinema Theatres, Distributors and OTT Platforms tokindly honor the courtorder and refrain from the release of Tamil movie "Theerpukal Virkapadum".
