JITO Sports National Games 2026 Concludes on a Grand Note in Chennai; Celebrates Sporting Excellence, Youth Empowerment & National Unity
Chennai, June 22, 2026: Over 500 young athletes from 45 JITO Chapters across India came together in Chennai for the spectacular JITO Sports National Games 2026, creating an unforgettable celebration of talent, determination, friendship, and sportsmanship.

Hosted by the JITO Chennai Chapter from June 20–22, 2026, the prestigious three-day national sporting event concluded successfully after witnessing thrilling competitions across eight disciplines — Badminton, Lawn Tennis, Swimming, Athletics, Table Tennis, Chess, Long Jump, and Shot Put. Participants competed in the Under-13, Under-15, and Under-19 categories, with 61 gold medal events and 183 podium finishes showcasing exceptional sporting excellence.

Organized under the leadership of Rajesh Chandan (Chairman, JITO Chennai Chapter), Rajesh Jain (Vice Chairman), Akash Kumar Jain (Chief Secretary), Ajay Nahar (Convener – JITO Sports Chennai), Rajesh Shah (Sports Secretary), and Sapan Shah (Chapter Secretary), the event was made possible through the dedicated efforts of more than 135 volunteers and committee members.
One of the defining moments of the Games was the inspiring “Walk of Pride” at Chennai’s iconic Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, where athletes from across the country marched together in a powerful display of unity, discipline, and community spirit.
The opening and closing ceremonies were graced by esteemed JITO Apex leaders including Kamlesh Sojatia, Narendra Srisrimal, Sripal Bachawat, D.K. Jain, Vicky Oswal, Aditya Lodha, and Amol Kucharia, who encouraged participants to pursue excellence both on and off the field.
The Games reflected JITO’s vision of holistic youth development by providing world-class sporting infrastructure, hospitality, accommodation, transportation, and athlete support through a highly subsidized participation model, ensuring greater accessibility and inclusivity.
JITO Chennai Chapter emerged as the Overall Champion, while JITO Pune Chapter secured the Runner-Up position. Special honours included Best Chapter Participation (JITO Bangalore North), Best Disciplined Chapter (JITO Indore), Best Zone Medal Tally (KKG Zone), and Best Cheering Chapter (JITO Pune). Arihaan Kankaria of Pune and Dhwani Vora of Mumbai were named Star Players in the male and female categories respectively.
The successful execution of the Games was further strengthened by the technical and operational expertise of GSEM, led by Mohit and Nikhil, ensuring seamless event management throughout.
Speaking on the occasion, Akash Kumar Jain, Chief Secretary, JITO Chennai Chapter, emphasized that the National Games are not merely about winning medals but about building confidence, leadership, friendships, and a lifelong sporting culture among young members of the Jain community.
Ajay Nahar, Convener – JITO Sports Chennai, highlighted how sports have the unique ability to unite communities and inspire the next generation to strive for greater achievements through dedication and discipline.
Sapan Shah, Chapter Secretary, JITO Chennai, acknowledged the collective efforts of participants, parents, sponsors, volunteers, and organizers whose unwavering support helped make the event a resounding success.
