Chennai, 18th November 2025: Escorts Kubota Limited (EKL), a leading Indian engineering conglomerate in agricultural and construction equipment, has launched its third-generation Kubota-branded Ride-On Rice Transplanters – KA6 and KA8. Engineered in Japan, these models are built for higher productivity, operator comfort, and precise planting. They are now available across Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Telangana, where demand for mechanized paddy solutions is growing.

Powered by Kubota’s fuel-efficient 21 HP and 24 HP engines, the KA6 and KA8 offer strong performance in difficult field conditions. Key features include a smart turning system, automatic lift for easy cornering, a multifunction control lever, and horizontal control for uniform planting depth. Redesigned planting claws and an improved seedling picking guide help reduce missed planting and ensure better accuracy and crop consistency.

Operator comfort has been enhanced with a wider platform, ergonomic layout, LED lighting, and a lighter planting unit with a longer wheelbase for better balance and suitability in deep wet fields.
