Connecting Tamil Entrepreneurs Globally | International Tamilar Business Conclave 2025 by Millet Foundation

Chennai, October 24: For the first time, the International Tamilar Business Conclave – 2025 will be held in Malaysia, aiming to create a global marketplace for entrepreneurs from Tamil Nadu and promote the state’s unique products and services.

This three-day event, scheduled from December 22 to 25, 2025, will take place at Hotel Wyndham Garden I-City & Midlands Convention Centre, Shah Alam, Malaysia. The conclave will highlight the business strength of the global Tamil community and open new international markets for Tamil Nadu’s traditional offerings.

As part of the event, the 4th anniversary of the Tamilar Varthaga Samgam will be celebrated on December 23, with over 1,000 Malaysian entrepreneurs and the public expected to attend. A special millet-based Tamil Nadu lunch will also be served.

Key goals of the conclave include promoting traditional Tamil food products, connecting Tamil entrepreneurs worldwide, encouraging new business ventures abroad, supporting small and micro-industries, and fostering a community-driven global Tamil economy.

More than 100 stalls will be set up for participants to showcase their products. The event is jointly organized by Tamilar Varthaga Sangam–Malaysia, Tan Millets, R.P.G. Group–Canada, Australia Asia India Trade Company, Map Digital, Biz Net Solution, Thaaimadi Wooden Oil Press Machines, and Zentech Engineering.

A delegation of 55 entrepreneurs from Tamil Nadu, including 22 from Chennai, will represent sectors such as millets, palm and coconut products, herbal goods, FPOs, and machinery manufacturing. Additionally, over 20 participants from Sri Lanka, including women’s self-help group leaders, importers, and government officials, will attend.

At a press meet, Mr. Sundar (Founder, Millet Foundation) and Mr. Balakrishnan Bathumalai (President, Tamilar Varthaga Sangam) stated that the conclave offers a golden opportunity for Tamil entrepreneurs worldwide to network, exhibit their products, and forge new business partnerships.
