Chennai, September 6, 2025 — Marking a significant milestone in its 120th Foundation Day celebrations, Bank of India inaugurated its 82nd branch in the Chennai Zone today, reinforcing its strategic commitment to financial inclusion and regional growth. The newly opened branch is located at No. 23, First Floor, Rajiv Gandhi Salai (OMR), Sholinganallur, Chennai 600100—a fast-developing commercial and residential hub in the city.
The inauguration ceremony was presided over by Shri Durgesh Nandan Verma, I.O.F.S., General Manager, Armoured Vehicles Nigam Limited, Avadi, Ministry of Defence, Government of India, who graced the occasion as Chief Guest. He was accompanied by Shri B. Guganesh, Deputy Chief Vigilance Officer, IRTS Southern Railway, and Shri Mohan Marethi, Zonal Manager, Bank of India, Chennai Zone, along with other senior executives and staff.
