February 13, 2024: DODP (Department of Defence Production), TIDCO, TATA Steel, Jaguar and Land Rover (JLR), National Institute of Design (NID), ONDC, German Agri Machinery Giant-CLAAS, Indian E Scooter Company - Ather, Bureaucrats from Ministries of Commerce and Industry, Heavy Industries, Defence; Diplomats, at the thematic Knowledge Sessions; Around 300 Exhibitors, 300 Overseas Buyers from over 40 Nations, around 10,000 Hosted Trade Visitors and over 700 One on Ones  B2B Meetings would adorn the International Mileu of  manufacturers, exporters, importers, buyers, technology providers, and government representatives from the engineering world- IESS  International Engineering Sourcing Show XI which opens it gates on the March 4th for three days at Codissia Trade Fair Complex in Coimbatore  announced Chairman EEPC India, Mr Arun Kumar Garodia at the Curtain Raiser Press Meet today in Chennai.

IESS is a show for the MSMEs, who play a pivotal role in the overall national industrial landscape contributing 35-40 % of the Engineering Exports. The second largest contributor to GDP, home to the largest number of factories in India and the only state to have all its districts covered under industrial corridor projects, Tamil Nadu has been  also the second highest Engineering merchandise exporter with a 15.8 % share in the National E gineering Export pie during April 2023-December 2023.

Flanders who is joining the show as the Focus Region for the 5th time would have a team from Belgium keen to procure and invest in Indian engineering, explained Mr Jayant Nadiger, Trade Commissioner of Flanders Region of Belgium
