The second largest contributor to GDP, home to the largest number of factories in India and the only state to have all its districts covered under industrial corridor projects, Tamil Nadu has been also the second highest Engineering merchandise exporter with a 15.8 % share in the National E gineering Export pie during April 2023-December 2023.
