Chennai, 24th Jan 2021: Chennai Kings 2021 Body Building & Fitness National Level Championship  World Fitness Federation was conducted in Chennai under the aegis of World Fitness Federation India.

Thiru K.P.Kandan, Ex- MLA (AIADMK) of Sholinganallur was the Chief Guest. Thiru T.C.Karuna, Sholinganallur AIADMK Secretary also participated in the event.

Dhiraj Mohandas, President WFF India was the Guest of Honour. He also acted as Chief Judge assisted by other judges.

The sponsors of the event were felicitated at the event. The event was organised as per Govt Corona restrictions.

The Event was organised by Chandrasekhar Mohan, President WFF Chennai, Madan Sreedharan, Secretary WFF Chennai and Marcus Rodrigues,  Treasurer WFF Chennai.

The events were held under different categories. Prizes, Medals were given to Winners and Runners-up.

The event was choreographed by Mohan Kumar.

Chennai, February 09, 2026: Building on the global momentum around World Cancer Day, Apollo Cancer Centre, Chennai and Apollo Proton Cancer Centre have launched the ‘ZERO TO HERO’ campaign to raise awareness about Stage Zero cancer detection and its critical role in improving survival and recovery outcomes. Cancer incidence in India continues to rise sharply, with over 15 lakh new cases reported in 2024, as per ICMR–NCRP data presented in Parliament. With one in nine Indians now facing a lifetime risk of cancer, the disease has emerged as a major public health challenge. Alarmingly, over 70% of cancers in India are diagnosed at advanced stages (III or IV), when treatment becomes more complex, outcomes are poorer, and the financial burden on families is significantly higher.
