Chennai 10th August 2020: The first episode of Star Sports 1 Tamil Quiz show ‘Aattathukku Readya?’ that launched on August 9th received plenty of plaudits from viewers and fans. The show, which marked the debut of R Aswhin as a quiz master, saw the Team India star off-spinner don his new hat with utmost ease as he hosted the first quarter-final of the quiz show.

Star Sports 1 Tamil’s maiden cricket quiz show witnessed a whopping 2900 teams registering for the event, with 2200 teams participating. After the preliminary rounds, around 8 teams made it to the quarter-finals. The latest episode saw Team Solli Adippom Gilli showcase their mental strength against Team Quick Fun Morgan. 

Speaking exclusively on Star Sports 1 Tamil’s Quiz Show ‘Aattathukku Readya?’, R Ashwin talked about his experience and the level of cricket knowledge of the contestants, “The kind of response we received over the past 10 days is superlative and I am eagerly awaiting now for the knockouts on ‘Aattathukku Readya?’. While shooting for the show, I was bowled over by the level of cricketing knowledge the participants had. It’s definitely going to be tough to choose between these 8 team.”
