GWC Data.AI Signs MoU with Tamil Nadu Government to Create 1,000+ AI Jobs
Chennai: GWC Data.AI, a Tamil Nadu-based Data and AI solutions provider and Official Anthropic Claude Preferred Partner, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Tamil Nadu to recruit more than 1,000 AI and data professionals over the next 12 months. The MoU was exchanged in the presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay at the Vetri Tamilnadu Investment Conclave held at ITC Grand Chola, Chennai.
The initiative is set to strengthen Tamil Nadu’s emerging AI talent ecosystem while taking high-value technology employment beyond major cities. The new roles will span AI engineering, data engineering, agentic AI development and enterprise delivery across GWC Data.AI’s offices in Hosur, Dharmapuri, Salem and Tirupattur.
As part of the partnership, GWC Data.AI will also collaborate with Guidance Tamilnadu’s skilling wing to conduct on-campus programmes and structured training in agentic AI. The initiative aims to build a Claude-certified talent pipeline within the state, providing young professionals with industry-relevant skills and opportunities in advanced artificial intelligence.
