L&T Technology Services Global EI OpenHack 2026 Sparks the Next Wave of AI-Native Engineering Solutions

Chennai, July 13, 2026: L&T Technology Services (LTTS) has successfully concluded Engineering Intelligence (EI) OpenHack 2026, a first-of-its-kind global innovation challenge that brought together nearly 4,000 engineers across 770+ teams from nine locations spanning India, the United States and Europe.

Conducted simultaneously in Bengaluru, Mysuru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Vadodara, Mumbai, Dallas and Munich, the 24-hour hackathon showcased the power of AI-driven engineering to solve real-world industrial challenges.

Participants worked on more than 500 challenge statements across Software Defined Mobility, Digital Manufacturing, MedTech, Energy & Automation, AI Infrastructure, Software Platforms and more, developing cutting-edge AI solutions for industrial automation, cybersecurity, autonomous systems, healthcare, supply chain intelligence and enterprise optimization. 

An expert jury evaluated the innovations based on technical excellence, scalability, business impact and effective AI implementation. Winning teams received cash prizes worth over ₹30 lakh, while standout projects earned opportunities for further development through Project Equinox, with several patent-worthy innovations shortlisted for special recognition. 

LTTS COO Mritunjay Kumar Singh said the initiative reflects the company's vision of Engineering Intelligence, where engineering expertise and AI combine to create transformative solutions for the future.
