Chennai Hosted India's First-Ever Elbow-Focused Academic Conference: CULTCON 2026 | Global Experts United to Advance Elbow Surgery
Chennai, July 26, 2026: Chennai created history by successfully hosting CULTCON 2026, India's first-ever academic conference dedicated exclusively to elbow surgery, on 25th and 26th July 2026. The landmark event brought together some of the world's most accomplished elbow and shoulder surgeons, marking a significant milestone in the evolution of orthopedic education and surgical excellence in the country.
The conference was organized by Dr. Ram Chidambaram, widely recognized as India's leading elbow and shoulder surgeon, whose vision of creating a dedicated platform for elbow surgery education, research, and collaboration became a reality through CULTCON 2026. Until now, elbow surgery had largely remained a part of broader shoulder and upper-limb meetings, making this pioneering conference a defining moment for the specialty in India.
