The Maha Mega Mahila Mela is set to bring together women entrepreneurs, industry leaders, financial experts, and the general public under one roof to celebrate entrepreneurship, innovation, leadership, and social inclusion. As part of the initiative, the Samiti has provided 400 free stalls exclusively for women entrepreneurs from all communities, enabling them to showcase products and services ranging from clothing boutiques and handlooms to food stalls, creative games, and artisanal products.

Organisers said the venue transformed into a vibrant commercial and networking hub, with women-led businesses emerging as the central highlight of the event. The mela reportedly attracted an estimated footfall of nearly 15,000 visitors throughout the day, creating an energetic atmosphere for business promotion and public engagement.

A special Tech-Talk session featuring industry experts, financial advisors, government representatives, and business mentors was organised to guide aspiring women entrepreneurs on subjects such as finance, compliance, innovation, and scaling opportunities. Representatives from organisations including EDII-TN, MSME, NSIC, SIDBI, WEWA, and other industrial think tanks participated in the discussions.

The event also hosted the prestigious “Shashaktham Stree – Empowered Women Awards” to honour distinguished women achievers from diverse fields. The awards ceremony was attended by senior dignitaries including Thiru Shankar, Manjit Singh, C. Murugesan and P.K. Senthil Kumar.

Among the award recipients were Nupur Jain, Rupa Rathod, Dr. Priti Udhay Khetan, Meena Dadha, Lalitha Jangra, Pooja Dugar and Sheela Bhandari.

Speaking about the initiative, K. Subhashchand Ranka said that WeBe Mela was envisioned as a platform to encourage entrepreneurship among women while building confidence, leadership qualities, financial independence, and community participation.

The event also featured shopping and entertainment zones, an exclusive sponsors’ pavilion, business networking opportunities, and the recognition of outstanding “WeBe Yashashvini” women entrepreneurs.

The successful execution of the event was led by the Samiti’s core leadership team, including Vice-Presidents Sampatraj Bhandari and Gautham Kankariya, Secretary Dhanpatraj Sanklecha, Joint Secretary Lalith Ranka, Treasurer Basanth Baradiya, Joint Treasurer Mahaveer Gadiya and Project Chairman Rajendra Kumar Sanklecha.
