Chennai, March 9, 2026: Versuni India has announced the launch of a new manufacturing facility in Chennai, marking a significant expansion of its existing operations in the country. The move aims to strengthen the company’s local production capabilities across high-growth home appliance categories while reinforcing its long-term commitment to manufacturing in India.
The expanded facility will boost Versuni’s production capacity for key product categories such as air fryers, air purifiers, and other kitchen appliances. It will also support the company’s broader localisation strategy while improving supply chain efficiency for the Indian market.

Spanning 12,000 square meters, the Chennai facility will continue to operate as an integrated manufacturing hub for kitchen appliances. As part of the expansion, the plant will feature a new air fryer motor manufacturing line, significantly increasing the overall production capacity.
Commenting on the expansion, Gulbahar Taurani, Managing Director & CEO, Versuni India, said India remains one of the most dynamic markets for home appliances globally. He noted that expanding manufacturing capabilities in Chennai would help the company strengthen localisation, scale production in high-growth categories, and respond more quickly to the evolving needs of Indian consumers, reflecting Versuni’s long-term commitment to building manufacturing capacity in the country.
The strategic expansion will also enable Versuni to achieve a complete portfolio of 100% Made in India products. The facility is expected to generate significant employment opportunities while also creating indirect jobs through supplier and logistics networks over the next three years.
With this expansion, Versuni continues to strengthen its manufacturing backbone in India to support the growing demand for innovative appliances across kitchen, garment care, and air treatment segments. The new facility incorporates smart automation and digital manufacturing technologies, including robotic production systems, automated testing machines, conveyor-based material handling systems, and IoT-enabled monitoring tools to enhance operational efficiency, quality consistency, and productivity.
