Chennai, March 13, 2026: Vijay’s party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), successfully conducted a grand policy awareness public meeting along with a welfare assistance distribution program for 500 beneficiaries at Sunnambu Kalvaai, Manali Road, Korukkupet in Chennai. The event was held under the guidance of TVK President Vijay and General Secretary N. Anand.

The event was organized by the 41st Circle leadership under the headship of R.K. Nagar Legislative Assembly candidate Dr. N. Marie Wilson. A large number of party cadres, district officials, and local residents attended the meeting, where leaders explained the party’s policy framework and its vision for the development of Tamil Nadu.

Renowned orator Nanjil Sampath, popularly known as “Sollin Selvar,” participated as the party’s Policy Explainer and delivered a special address, highlighting TVK’s ideological principles and Vijay’s vision for the people of the state.

The program was conducted under the leadership of G. Velu, Chennai North East District Secretary, with active participation from district administrators and coordinators representing various wings including Youth, Women, Legal, Media, IT, Student, Labour, Fisherfolk, and Traders wings. Circle Secretaries from circles 38 to 47 were also present.

As part of the welfare initiative, assistance under various schemes was distributed to 500 beneficiaries from the R.K. Nagar constituency, reflecting the party’s commitment to grassroots welfare and inclusive governance.

Party representatives reiterated that equality, social justice, and progressive governance form the core ideology of TVK. They also affirmed that the party will contest the upcoming Assembly elections with the “Whistle” symbol and aims to make Vijay the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. The large gathering in the R.K. Nagar constituency highlighted the party’s expanding grassroots presence and growing public support.
