ProNutramax Unveils Pro Nutra Kidz and ANI — A Dual Brand Launch Celebrating Nutrition and Traditional Indian Cooking
Chennai: Chennai-based ProNutramax has launched two new brands—Pro Nutra Kidz: For Active Mind and Body, a nutraceutical range designed to support growing children, and ANI Traditional Masala, a line of authentic spice blends and instant mixes aimed at preserving traditional flavours.
The dual launch was held at Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels, Chennai, in the presence of several dignitaries including Dr. J. Radhakrishnan, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary and Chairman-cum-Managing Director of TNPDCL; Kalaimamani actor Chinni Jayanth; Mr. Pawan Kumar, IRS (Delhi); Wing Commander (Retd.) Ramesh Pulapaka, CEO–ABCL; Ms. Apsara Reddy, social activist and journalist; Dr. Srimathy Kesan, Founder and CEO of Space Kidz India; Mr. Viswanathan Natarajan, Vice Chairman, Gojan Educational Institutions; and Mrs. Ila Prabhu, General Manager, ITC.

With this dual launch, ProNutramax aims to bridge the gap between convenience and tradition by combining nutraceutical science with authentic masala excellence. The initiative seeks to support modern families with products that promote both health and heritage cooking.
Speaking at the launch, Ms. Latha Dubay, Founder and CEO of ProNutramax, said that today’s parents often struggle to balance their children’s demanding academic schedules with proper nutrition while preserving the authentic taste of traditional home cooking. “Through Pro Nutra Kidz and ANI, we aim to bring together science-backed nutrition and time-tested flavours to restore parent-approved nutrition and the trusted taste of yesteryear to every family’s table,” she said.
Highlighting the company’s growth strategy, Mr. K. Raman, Director, said the brands are supported by a strong marketing plan to ensure visibility across prominent retail outlets and high-footfall stores, backed by an expanding dealer network across urban and semi-urban markets. He added that both brands are committed to authenticity in preparation and consistency in quality, while inviting distributors from Tamil Nadu to partner in the company’s expansion.
The Pro Nutra Kidz range, available in flavours such as vanilla and chocolate, is formulated with essential vitamins and minerals to support bone strength, immunity and sustained energy for children. Designed to give parents control over sweetness, the product addresses concerns about hidden sugars in many health drinks. The company also plans to expand its nutraceutical portfolio soon with specialised products for women and elders.
Meanwhile, ANI Traditional Masala focuses on authentic spice blends and instant mixes inspired by heritage recipes. Its offerings include products such as Idli Podi, Rasam, Sambar, Puliyotharai and Rava Idli mixes, made using carefully sourced ingredients to ensure consistent traditional flavour. The products are packaged in aluminium foil to enhance freshness and preserve aroma. The brand also plans to introduce additional traditional favourites such as Instant Payasam, Millet Dosa and Special Maddur Vada mixes in the future.
