Chennai, November 2025: Avtar Group, India’s leading workplace culture consulting firm, hosted BOB 2025 – the Best of Best Conference & Awards at ITC Grand Chola, celebrating the winners of the Best Companies for Women in India (BCWI), Most Inclusive Companies Index (MICI), and Best Companies for ESG (BCESG). The awards were presented by Dr. Tamizhachi Thangapandian, MP (South Chennai Constituency).

Marking the 10th anniversary of BCWI, the event highlighted a decade of progress — women’s leadership representation among Best Companies reached 20%, with overall female workforce participation at 36%, up from 25% in 2016. Reflecting on the milestone, Dr. Saundarya Rajesh, Founder–President, Avtar Group, said: “BCWI has helped turn inclusion intent into measurable impact. As we celebrate its tenth edition, we see stories of opportunity, empathy, and action driving change in Indian workplaces.”

Centered on the theme “Unbox Inclusion,” BOB 2025 explored evolving ideas of leadership, inclusion, and organizational vitality amid trends like AI, hybrid work, and climate change. A Forum Theatre session encouraged participants to co-create solutions for inclusive growth.

World Sight Day 2025: Blind Walk & Safe Diwali Awareness Rally; Organized by Vasan Eye Care Hospital & SDNB Vaishnava College for Women

Chennai, October 17, 2025: Vasan Eye Care Hospital, Chrompet, in collaboration with Shrimathi Devkunwar Nanalal Bhat Vaishnava College for Women, jointly observed World Sight Day 2025 with a powerful message on preventing vision loss and promoting safe Diwali celebrations. Over 150 college students participated in a unique Blind Walk, symbolically tying black ribbons over their eyes to raise awareness about visual impairment and the importance of eye donation. The event also included a vibrant rally advocating for eye care, eye safety during Diwali, and support for the visually impaired. Madras Diabetes Research Foundation Signs MOU with CBR & UK DRI for Pioneering Diabetes and Brain Health Research

25th October 2025 | Chennai, India – In a significant international partnership, the Madras Diabetes Research Foundation (MDRF), Chennai, the Centre for Brain Research (CBR) at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, and the UK Dementia Research Institute (UK DRI) have come together to advance pioneering research into the complex links between diabetes and brain health. Separate Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) were signed between MDRF, CBR, and UK DRI to formalize this collaboration.
