Spiritual Grace at ZIVA Active Retirement Community: Visit of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetathipathi
Chennai: Ziva Active Retirement Community in Mahabalipuram had the divine privilege of hosting Sri Sankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamigal, the Peetathipathi of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam. His Holiness was welcomed with a traditional Poorna Kumbam and Veda Gosham by Vidyarthees from Athur Veda Patasala. Mr. P. Spread across 20 acres and home to 400+ senior citizens, Ziva offers comprehensive care including food, health, safety, and facilities. During his visit, His Holiness blessed the community, visited the Siva Vishnu Temple and Gau Shala (home to 150 native breed cows), and inaugurated the Maitri Hall. In his Anugraha Bhashan, he emphasized preserving Bharatiya traditions, caring for temples, and nurturing devotion through scriptures like the Gita, Ramayana, and Prabandham.
Interacting warmly with residents and appreciating the efforts of the 200-member support staff, he praised Arun Excello’s vision for creating such a vibrant and holistic ecosystem for senior living.
