Key industry leaders including Mr Jayanthilal Challani, President of The Jewellers & Diamond Traders Association, Madras (MJDTA), and Mr Sultan Mohideen H, President of the Chennai Jewellers Association (CJA), also graced the occasion.

In his address, Mr Jain emphasized Jaipur’s rich heritage in gemstones and jewellery craftsmanship, underscoring why the city remains the natural choice for hosting JJS. He noted that over the past 22 years, the show has grown into a cornerstone event for the industry, not only in Jaipur but across India.

This year, the show will spotlight the theme “Coloured Gemstones”, celebrating Jaipur’s longstanding legacy in coloured stone artistry. Mr Jain also shared the show's impressive growth — from just 67 booths in its debut year in 2003 to over 1200 booths today, with more than 300 exhibitors still on the waiting list. The event now welcomes 50,000 to 60,000 visitors annually, including many from international markets.

To enhance the buyer experience, he highlighted that the exhibition is strategically segmented, allowing for more focused and efficient sourcing. Mr Kamal Kothari, Treasurer of JJS, delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries and attendees for their enthusiastic participation.

JJS is proudly supported by a roster of prestigious partners including GJEPC, ICA, GJC, GIA, DTC, NJGCI, CIBJO, WFSB, Rio Tinto, Gemfields, IBJA, IGI, and DGL. Notably, it remains one of the few MSME-registered gem and jewellery exhibitions in India.
