Chennai, India – 2nd August – The Indian Association of Oral Implantologists (IAOI) proudly inaugurated its 1st Global Dental Implant Summit, a pioneering event focused on advancing digital implantology and its impact on public health and clinical dentistry. Held in Chennai Trade centre, the summit attracted a vibrant international audience and featured cutting-edge discussions on digital innovations in implant dentistry.

The inauguration was graced by Dr. Narayanasamy, Honorable Vice Chancellor of The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, who emphasized the importance of integrating global dental advancements into Indian education and clinical systems. Joining him were Dr. Chandan Gajanayake, Deputy Director of Health, Sri Lanka, and Dr. Kanagaraj, Chairman of Ragas Dental College, both lauding IAOI’s efforts to bring together thought leaders from across the world.

Over 400 delegates from around the globe, along with 45 leading dental implant traders, 5 distinguished international speakers, and 20 top national speakers, participated in the summit. Sessions centered on digital implantology—including AI-assisted planning, guided surgery, 3D printing, and intraoral scanning—aiming to empower dental professionals with the tools and knowledge to deliver faster, safer, and more precise implant care.
