Somangalam Village, Kanchipuram, July 2025: In a significant step towards women empowerment and social reintegration, Rehoboth Public Charitable Trust, in partnership with Caritas India and Roop VK Jain Foundation (the CSR arm of Highway Roop Precision Technologies Ltd.), launched the ‘Manasi’ project—a community-based initiative focused on the psychosocial rehabilitation of women residing at the Rehoboth Mentally Challenged Women’s Shelter Home in Chennai.

The launch event was graced by the presence of key dignitaries including Mr. Mohit Oswal, Chairman, Highway Roop, Mr. Dharmesh Arora, CEO, and Mr. M G V Vijayendra, Plant Head, along with Fr. R. Jessudas, Executive Director, Caritas India, and Ms. Zoraida Samuel, Director, Rehoboth Trust. The program also saw participation from Dr. A. Amarnath, Director, NIEPMD, and other senior district officials, underscoring the collaborative strength behind this impactful initiative.


For over four years, Roop VK Jain Foundation has been consistently supporting the women at Rehoboth through medical aid and healthcare services. The launch of Manasi further deepens this long-standing partnership by expanding support into psychosocial care, skill- building, and community reintegration.
