Chennai: The Golden Face of South India 2024 has successfully completed it's grand finale at Hilton Chennai. The Founders of Wyndow Entertainments, Gopinath Ravi & Saravanan along with the Founder & CEO of ACTC Studio Hemanth aimed to raise awareness about the skin donation for the acid attack victims through this beauty pageant.

We are honored to have in our midst the epitome of grace and charm, the chief guests for the event -  dazzling model and actress Amy Jackson and radiant actress Shreya Saran who crowned the winners of GFSI 2024 in their respective categories. Adding to the glamour, the renowned director & Honorary Chairman of Wyndow Entertainments, AL Vijay and the graceful brand ambassador Parvathi Nair shared the stage with our chief guests.

GFSI witnessed an overwhelming response with over 1000 registrations pouring in from four distinctive states – Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Telangana, and Kerala. Following rigorous screenings, 51 exceptional finalists emerged, showcasing their grace and poise through grooming sessions, ramp walks, and engaging Q & A rounds.

After meticulous evaluation, the crowning moment arrived, unveiling the victors who stood out in their respective categories. Varshini Venkat from Tamil Nadu secured the prestigious title of Miss Golden Face of South India 2nd Runner Up, while Megha Rajiv earned the coveted position of Mrs Golden Face of South India 1st Runner Up. Additionally, the pageant celebrated regional excellence with Amaal Shajahan titled as Miss Golden Face of Tamil Nadu, Jacklin Sofia crowned as Mrs Golden Face of Tamil Nadu, and Nivedha Anuprasadh achieving the title of Mrs Golden Face of Chennai.

As they begin their journey, the winners eagerly embrace opportunities for successful careers as models, aiming to make their identity in the dynamic world of glamour.

Chennai, February 09, 2026: Building on the global momentum around World Cancer Day, Apollo Cancer Centre, Chennai and Apollo Proton Cancer Centre have launched the ‘ZERO TO HERO’ campaign to raise awareness about Stage Zero cancer detection and its critical role in improving survival and recovery outcomes. Cancer incidence in India continues to rise sharply, with over 15 lakh new cases reported in 2024, as per ICMR–NCRP data presented in Parliament. With one in nine Indians now facing a lifetime risk of cancer, the disease has emerged as a major public health challenge. Alarmingly, over 70% of cancers in India are diagnosed at advanced stages (III or IV), when treatment becomes more complex, outcomes are poorer, and the financial burden on families is significantly higher.
