"Kaappi Ready" opens its outlet at T Nagar, Chennai | First outlet for Filter Coffee in Chennai

Chennai 25th September 2022: "kaappi ready", known for filter coffee has opened its outlet in Ambika Super Market premises on Dr. Nair Road, T. Nagar, Chennai. kaappi  Ready has opened its first branch in Chennai while operating in Coimbatore with 35 branches. This branch was opened by HPCL's Chennai Regional Deputy General Manager S.K. Murali.

Following this, Chief Executive Officer of Coffee Ready Company, Rajesh and owner of Chennai branch, Ganesh, told the media that our kaappi Ready store, operating with Coimbatore as its headquarters, was started during the Corona period. More shops are going to be setup in HP petrol bunks in collaboration with Hindustan Petroleum.

We are sourcing the coffee beans from our estate freshly and hence its taste and quality never change. Our filter coffee costs 20 and it is not available anywhere else in Chennai at this price. We have decided to open a total of 200 stores in Chennai alone. They said that it is planned to set up 50 stores within the next one year.

Chennai, February 09, 2026: Building on the global momentum around World Cancer Day, Apollo Cancer Centre, Chennai and Apollo Proton Cancer Centre have launched the ‘ZERO TO HERO’ campaign to raise awareness about Stage Zero cancer detection and its critical role in improving survival and recovery outcomes. Cancer incidence in India continues to rise sharply, with over 15 lakh new cases reported in 2024, as per ICMR–NCRP data presented in Parliament. With one in nine Indians now facing a lifetime risk of cancer, the disease has emerged as a major public health challenge.
