FIITJEE Chennai Student Crowned TAMIL NADU STATE TOPPER in JEE (ADVANCED)

• With an impressive total of 293 out of 372 in JEE ( ADVANCED)

Chennai, June, 2019:  FIITJEE 'S  Chennai Student S. Prajeeth who secured All India 33rd Rank was the State topper. Of the 1,61,319 candidates who appeared for JEE (Advanced) this year,38,705 have qualified. Among them,5,356 are female students. Prajeeth scored 293 out of 372.

FIITJEE continues its saga of success in IITJEE at  Pan India level and certainly at Regional level 1 while the Institution's name is etched strongly overall, its presence is clearly felt at Chennai Region as well. AIR 2, AIR 3 and AIR 10 are successfully captured by FIITJEE students. At regional level in Tamil Nadu, FIITJEE is excited to announce the State First Rank of 33.

Mr.Pavan Kumar, Deputy Director, FIITJEE Chennai said "We have 24 students from our institute who came in the top 1000. The performance of Tamil Nadu students was more or less the same as last year. Last year , the student with 1000th rank secured 59%marks, while this year the student with 55% has secured the 1000th rank.  At least half a dozen students , mostly from the Maharishi Vidya Mandir school who had taken up integrated coaching through FIITJEE have scored well. As many as 10 students were ranked among the top 1000. Most students said they would opt for the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.

Himanshu Gaurav Singh has secured All India Rank 2 and Topped IIT Delhi Zone. Archit Boobna has notched All India Rank 3. With the All India Rank of 10, Shabnam Sahay has won the title of All Inida Girls' Topper. Prajeeth .S  secured All India Rank 33 and stands as the Topper of the State of TN.
