Speaking on the occasion, Fabrice Cambolive, Chief Growth Officer, Renault Group & CEO, Renault brand, said, “As part of the Renault International Game Plan 2027, India is a key pillar of our growth outside Europe. With a strong ecosystem in Chennai spanning design, engineering and manufacturing, we now have the means to deliver products truly adapted to Indian customers. The new Renault Duster is the first step in Renault’s renewal in India.”

The hybrid combines a 1.8-litre engine with a 1.4 kWh battery, enabling up to 80% EV-mode driving in city conditions, making it one of the most efficient hybrids in the segment. Transmission options include a 6-speed wet-clutch DCT and a precise 6-speed manual.

Commenting on Renault’s renewed journey in India, St├йphane Deblaise, CEO, Renault Group India, said, “With the new RGMP platform, advanced hybrid technology and the Renault Forever programme, we are significantly enhancing both product and ownership experience.
