Chennai, January 31, 2026: Kauvery Hospital has officially begun the final countdown to the 4th Edition of the K10K Cancer Awareness Run with the successful distribution of race kits, setting the tone for one of Chennai’s most anticipated community health initiatives. The main run is scheduled for February 1, 2026, and is expected to bring together thousands of runners, families, corporates, and fitness enthusiasts in a powerful show of solidarity for cancer awareness.

The race kit distribution event was inaugurated by the Oncologists of Kauvery Hospital, Chennai, reinforcing the hospital’s commitment to early detection, prevention, and education in the fight against cancer. Over the past three years, the K10K Run has witnessed steady and significant growth, with participation crossing 12,000 runners, reflecting Chennai’s rising public engagement with preventive healthcare initiatives.

What began as a focusedChennai Comes Together for Kauvery Hospital’s K10K Cancer Awareness Run 2026 – 4th Edition awareness run has now evolved into a city-wide movement, drawing participation from individuals, families, corporate teams, fitness groups, and resident associations. Each edition has strengthened the message that timely screening, informed health choices, and sustained awareness can make a meaningful difference in cancer outcomes.

The K10K Cancer Awareness Run 2026 will feature 5 km and 10 km categories, ensuring accessibility for participants of varying fitness levels while encouraging people of all ages to take part in the cause. Chennai, March 31, 2026: Tamil Nadu IT Hostel Owners Welfare Association raised a serious concerns on whether cooking gas is being hoarded or sold in the black market during a press meet led by its State President A. Seetharaman along with other office bearers.  During the press meet, Seetharaman outlined what actions the Central and State Governments should take. He also said that more than 20,000 men’s, women’s, and student hostels operating across Tamil Nadu are facing severe difficulties due to an acute shortage of cooking gas.
